Trixie

Here is my version of Trixie who has been described as rather sassy!  She is a commission and has already been sold.  This project was such an amazing opportunity for me to delve into some materials I didn't have the chance to work with before.  I purchased an embroidery machine and got to dive right in to learning how to use it as there are so many embroidered details on this project.  This is also the first time I worked with minky, and I think I am in love!  What a soft material, and so cuddly!  I'm hooked and I don't think I can look back!  Wait.. Trixie has a crown.. is.. is that an Element of Harmony?  Hmm, she shouldn't have that!  Well, yes she should..  It goes along with an animation my friend created: youtu.be/1X3QIHJmnHQ  

Trixie's body, mane and tail are made with Minky.  Her hat and cloak are fleece with an inner lining.  Eyes, cutie mark and all the embellishments on the hat and cloak are machine embroidery.  She also has a bead at the front of the cloak, and it closes with a snap.  The crown is machine embroidery and delicately cut from fabric.  She is about 10 inches tall from hoof to horn.
